    El análisis del estatus jurídico de la mujer ha sido, hasta fechas muy recientes, una asignatura pendiente para la disciplina de la Historia del Derecho. Si bien de un tiempo a esta parte se han incrementado las investigaciones dedicadas a analizar el papel de las españolas en el devenir histórico-jurídico de nuestro país, todavía queda mucho por hacer. Con esta publicación queremos trazar un estado de la cuestión sobre la literatura existente en esta materia, poniendo de manifiesto los aspectos más importantes que han sido objeto de estudio hasta el momento, así como las cuestiones e incógnitas que a día de hoy siguen sin resolverse.

    The analysis of the legal status of women has been, until very recently, an unfinished business in the History of Law. While it is true that the scientific research focused on analysing the role of women in the Spanish history has recently increased, much remained to be done still. The aim of our study is to make a state of play about the published bibliography in this area, highlighting the key aspects that have been studied up until now, as well as the questions that remain unresolved.
