  • This paper emphasizes the necessity of having a knowledge of the transmission of the manuscripts, the new papyri as well as the editions and translations made in modern ages and the bibliography related to Aeschines' text in order to make a critical edition of the Attic orator. All this points are shown by the authoress on as very precise and clear way.
