  • Qualitative Reasoning has been exciting and productive research area at the interface between the symbolic reasoning methods of AI and the continuous mathematics of engineering modelling. In this talk, I will describe a vision of what we have accomplished in the last decade, where we are likely to go in the next decade, and what are the key research problems in between.
