Democracy is in crisis (medically, or it is recovered and it leaves strengthened, or it will be extinguished). There is not so much due to the formal change that e-democracy brings (the first great democratizing wave of the 21st century, eighth of the contemporary world and the thirtieth of Western becoming), but to the lack of authentic icitizenship (the urgency of the return of the polites). or committed citizen, in front of the consumerist idion). E-democracy and i-citizenship are diagnosed and predicted here, under critical ontology and comparative sociological approaches, with traditional political-legal techniques and new socio-economic resources. The study on democratic culture is completed with a generational analysis, clarifying the continuity or not of it.
