    El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar diferentes aspectos relevantes a propósito de la comprensión de la sociedad y de la transformación revolucionaria de la misma, en el más coherente sentido de la expresión que, para mí, no es otro que la realización de la libertad. Se analiza asimismo cómo el proyecto ilustrado conlleva la búsqueda de recursos para la materialización de su compromiso subyacente con la racionalidad, la ética y la justicia. Se subraya, a ese respecto, que la lectura convencional de tal proceso deja de lado tendencias de una sorpendente actualidad. Por último, se toman en consideración los tres aspectos que, en nuestra época, inciden de forma directa sobre cualquier intento de pensar la transformación radical de una sociedad. Éstos son, a mi juicio, la disolución de la idea de responsabilidad del intelectual, la fetichización del conocimiento y el ocultamiento de la dimensión histórica de toda configuración social. El objetivo final de todo ello es ofrecer un soporte teórico adecuado para pensar de nuevo la idea de la realización efectiva de la libertad.

    The objective of this paper is to analyze different relevant aspects regarding the understanding of society and the revolutionary transformation of society, in the most coherent sense of that expression. For me, is no other than the realization of freedom. It is also analyzed how the enlightened project entails the search of resources for the materialization of its underlying commitment with rationality, ethics and justice. It is emphasized, in this regard, that the conventional reading of such a process leaves aside trends of a surprising actuality. Finally, the three aspects that, in our time, directly affect any attempt to think about the radical transformation of a society are taken into consideration. hese are the dissolution of the idea of responsibility of the intellectual, the fetishization of knowledge and the concealment of the historical dimension of all social configuration. The final goal of all this is to offer a suitable theoretical support to think again the idea of the effective realization of freedom.
