  Siempre ha existido un gran interés en toda investigación arqueológica por la ordenación de los objetos que encontramos en los yacimientos arqueológicos intentando construir tipologías ordenadas de los mismos buscando siempre la mayor objetividad posible. Precisamente esa ha sido una de las principales premisas de los sistemas clasificatorios, la búsqueda de la objetividad, que el arqueólogo sea exclusivamente el medio por el que se ordenan los artefactos. En este trabajo presentamos un breve repaso por los diferentes métodos de clasificación en nuestra disciplina durante el siglo XX, desde la Metodología Filogenética hasta la Taxonomía Numérica.

  There has always been a great interest in archaeological research for the ordination of the objects we can find in archaeological sites, trying to build ordered typologies of the artefacts looking for the most objective as possible. Precisely this has been one of the main premises in the classification systems, the search for objectivity, in which the archaeologist is only a means by which the artefacts are ordered. In this paper we present a brief review about the different classification methods in our discipline along the twentieth century, from the Phylogenetic Methodology to the Numerical Taxonomy
