  La relación entre la distribución de los yacimientos arqueológicos en general y espe-cíficamente con arte rupestre, y la de las aguas termales y minero-medicinales en la re-gión cantábrica, muestra, por un lado, una conexión significativa y, por otro, un singular vacío de yacimientos de tiempo largo en el centro de Asturias, y entre el río Miera en Cantabria y los Pirineos atlánticos franceses.

  The relationship between the general distribution of archaeological sites —specifica-lly with the rock and cave art ones— and that of the thermal and medicinal-miner wa-ters of the Cantabrian region shows, in one hand, a meaningful connection and on the other hand, a significant emptiness of large time sites in central Asturias, and between the Miera river and the French Atlantic Pyrenees.
