  • In the bimillenary of Horace the author points out some traces of this Latin poet in the Spanish Baroque. So Horace appears as the inspirer of Garcilaso, Fray Luis de León, Herrera, Góngora, Quevedo. Villegas and some others translators from the Latin language propitiated the diffusion of Horace in Spain.
