    El text recull les principals disposicions sobre els usos, els drets lingüístics i el règim jurídic de la llengua publicades al Diari Oficial de la Unió Europea (DOUE) de l’1 de juliol al 31 de desembre de 2018. L’ordre en què apareixen les disposicions esmentades és el que s’estableix cronològicament al DOUE. Les sigles EEE corresponen a l’Espai Econòmic Europeu, àrea d’integració comercial que associa en un únic mercat interior la UE amb Noruega, Islàndia i Liechtenstein.

    The text includes provisions on the uses, the linguistic rights and the legal system of the language published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) during the second half of the year (between July and December 2018). The order of the provisions cited is that in which they have been published in the OJEU. The acronym EEA corresponds to the European Economic Area, an area of commercial integration which unites the EU with Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein in a single internal market
