    Esta publicación pretende responder a la necesidad surgida en las empresas de relacionar la gestión de su conocimiento, como bien intangible, con las múltiples posibilidades que ofrecen las nuevas tecnologías. En la investigación se ha analizado la aplicabilidad de las herramientas ERP a diferentes entornos de negocio y en particular a una empresa del sector logístico.

    El trabajo tiene como objetivo principal estudiar cómo implantar una solución ERP de una manera óptima en una pequeña empresa dedicada al mundo del transporte. Para lograr este objetivo será preciso, a grandes rasgos, realizar un análisis de los diferentes ERP existentes, seleccionar el que mejor se ajuste a los objetivos y, finalmente, configurar el ERP para que proporcione una solución viable a las necesidades particulares de la empresa.

    Con la implantación del sistema ERP se busca que la compañía pueda optimizar los procesos, reducir los costos operativos, mejorar la eficiencia, tomar mejores decisiones empresariales, incrementar la satisfacción de sus clientes, minimizar los errores humanos, reducir el inventario y los stocks, etc.

    This publication aims to meet the need arising in companies of connecting the management of their knowledge with the multiple possibilities offered by new technologies. The research has analyzed the applicability of ERP tools to different business environments and in particular to a company in the logistics sector.

    The main objective of this publication is to study how to implement an ERP system for a small transportation company in an optimal way. To achieve this goal it will be necessary to make an analysis of the different existing ERPs, selection of the one that best meets company's objectives and, finally, to set the ERP system to provide a viable solution to the particular needs of the company.

    With the implementation of the ERP system the company seeks to optimize processes, reduce operating costs, improve efficiency, make better business decisions, increase customer satisfaction, minimize human error, reduce inventory and stocks, etc.
