El estudio expone la experiencia que les tocó vivir a los niños en el conflicto armado en Perú. Algunos participaron directamente en el conflicto desde las columnas del Partido Comunista Peruano “Sendero Luminoso” (PCP-SL) o del Movimiento Revolucionario Túpac Amaru (MRTA). Otros menores fueron reclutados en las Fuerzas Armadas. Los terceros integraron los Comités de Autodefensa Civil (CAD). Los niños que no estuvieron involucrados en los grupos anteriores fueron víctimas de diferentes crímenes y violaciones que vulneraron sus derechos. Actualmente, el llamado Militarizado Partido Comunista del Perú aún tiene menores de edad en sus columnas.

The study describes the experience of children in armed conflict in Peru. Some were directly involved in the conflict from the columns of the Peruvian Communist Party "SenderoLuminoso" (PCP-SL) and the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement (MRTA). Other children were recruited into the armed forces. The integrated third Civil Defence Committees (CAD). Children who were not involved in the above groups were victims of different crimes and their rights were violated. Currently, the so-called Militarized Communist Party of Peru still have minors in their columns.
