Resumen de Colaboración terapéutica: estudio comparativo de dos casos contrastantes con terapia constructivista

  Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar la evolución de la colaboración terapéutica a lo largo de un caso de éxito y un caso de fracaso de terapia constructivista. 1973 episodios interactivos entre las díadas fueran codificados independientemente con el Therapeutic Collaboration Coding System a lo largo de 21 sesiones. Los resultados muestran que en el caso de fracaso los episodios no colaborativos fueron más frecuentes, y que la terapeuta utilizó más intervenciones de desafío a lo largo de la terapia. Por su turno, en el caso de éxito, se verificaron más respuestas de innovación de la cliente y un mayor equilibrio entre las intervenciones de desafío y de soporte. Las implicaciones para la investigación y la práctica serán discutidas.

  This case study aimed to compare the therapeutic collaboration evolution in a good outcome and a poor outcome of constructivist therapy. 1973 therapeutic exchanges between the therapist and the clients were independently coded using the Therapeutic Collaboration Coding System throughout 21 sessions. The results show that non-collaborative exchanges were more frequent in the poor outcome case, and that the therapist used more challenging interventions as the therapy progressed. On the other hand, in the good outcome case, there was a higher prevalence of responses of novelty from the client, as well as a better balance between challenging and supporting interventions. Research and clinical implications will be discussed.
