  El interés romano por los helenos no está exento de contradicciones, pues las visiones historiográficas romanas presentan elementos laudatorios hacia sus leyes, en cambio, por otra parte, reprochan suscostumbres. Con este estudio pretendemos mostrar algunos alcances acerca de las visiones más recurrentes que muestra la historiografía, tanto griega como romana, del helenismo, especialmente durante los últimos dos siglos de la República.

  The Roman interest in the Hellenes is not exempt of contradictions, as the Roman historiographical views have laudatory elements to their laws. On the other hand, they reproach about their customs. With this study we intend to show some achievements on the most recurring visions showed by the historiography, both Greek and Roman, of Hellenism, especially during the last two centuries of the Republic.
