Lengua y Cultura: Elementos que conforman la Identidad y Labor Docente

    La labor educativa del docente va mas allá de ser un dador de clases, implica formar al estudiante, descubrir su talento y potenciarlo. Para ello es necesario que el docente se valga de elementos como la lengua y la cultura, que permitan la perfección del ser humano a través del desarrollo mental e integral. Por tal razón el objetivo del estudio fue conocer el papel de la lengua y la cultura como parte elemental en la identidad y labor educativa del docente. La metodología utilizada fue de tipo documental, análisis crítico y sistemático de libros, revistas y documentos electrónicos, el nivel del estudio se torno exploratorio porque pretendió generar interés en otros investigadores que deseen profundizar fenómenos similares. Como resultado de la búsqueda de información y la lectura de los documentos disponibles se encontró que la lengua y la cultura como totalidad se contraponen a la naturaleza tradicionalista en la que el docente es quien manda y los estudiantes son quienes obedecen utilizando como medio coercitivo la evaluación de los aprendizajes. Siendo que la educación debe apuntar a una mayor flexibilidad y dejar que la cultura haga su papel, es decir, absorba incluso los entornos naturales, como es el caso de la lengua, el niño no aprende a hablar, el niño ya sabe, lo que tiene que hacer es comenzar a construir códigos que más tarde le permitirán hablar. Ese es el papel de la cultura, influenciar al docente para que a través de la educación descubra lo que ya está hecho, lo que ya está elaborado para poder potenciarlo.

    The teachers’s educational work of the teacher goes beyond being a class giver, it involves training the student, discovering their talent and empower him. For this it is necessary that the teacher uses elements such as language and culture, which allow the perfection of the human being through mental and integral development. For this reason the objective of the study was to know the role of language and culture as an elementary part in the identity and educational work of the teacher. The methodology used was documentary, critical and systematic analysis of books, journals and electronic documents, the level of the study was exploratory because it sought to generate interest in other researchers who wish to deepen similar phenomena. As a result of the search for information and the reading of the available documents, it was found that the language and culture as a whole are opposed to the traditionalist nature in which the teacher is the one in charge and the students are the ones who obey using the evaluation as a coercive means of learning. Being that education should aim for greater flexibility and let culture play its part, that is to say absorb even natural environments, as is the case of language, the child does not learn to speak, the child already knows, what he has to do is to start building codes that will later allow him to speak. That is the role of culture, to influence the teacher so that through education he discovers what is already done, what is already elaborated in order to enhance it.
