    La detección del Maltrato Infantil de forma temprana supone una gran medida de prevención y de cuidado al alumnado que, por su situación familiar y social, se encuentra en riesgo. La escuela, junto a la familia constituyen los primeros agentes de socialización para el menor, de ahí la importancia de la formación del profesorado para la detección, prevención e intervención en caso de presentársele algún indicio de maltrato infantil en sus aulas o en el contexto del centro en el que desarrollan su labor educativa.El trabajo que se presenta expone las causas y factores de la aparición del maltrato infantil en el ámbito familiar, así como los indicadores que manifiestan los menores en esta situación, de cara a dar una explicación teórica a este fenómeno que aparece en algunos de nuestros centros educativos, y para el que el profesorado no está realmente preparado para afrontar.

    The detection of Child Abuse early is a great measure of prevention and care for students who, because of their family and social situation, is at risk. The school, along with the family, are the first agents of socialization for the minor, hence the importance of teacher training for detection, prevention and intervention in case of any indication of child abuse in their classrooms or in the context of Center in which they develop their educational work. The work presented presents the causes and factors of the occurrence of child maltreatment in the family, as well as the indicators that manifest the children in this situation, in order to give a theoretical explanation to this phenomenon that appears in some of our centers Educational, and for which the faculty is not really prepared to face.
