Estudio de la atención en personas con discapacidad intelectual leve

    Las investigaciones en el campo de la Educación Especial, hasta el momento presente, no han tenido en cuenta la importancia que posee el estudio de la atención en personas con Discapacidad Intelectual Leve aspecto que potenciaría el conocimiento del funcionamiento cognitivo de estas personas y por consiguiente, posibilitaría mejorar las estrategias psicoeducativas de intervención (mejoraría la respuesta educativa). Los objetivos de esta investigación se centran en analizar dos tipos de atención (procesual y perceptiva) en las personas adultas con Discapacidad Intelectual y compararlo con la población general. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se empleó una metodología cuantitativa, utilizando como instrumento de evaluación el test KCC y el test Caras que fue completado por 29 personas con Discapacidad Intelectual Leve y otras 29 personas sin DIL.

    Research in the field of Special Education up to this time has not taken into account the importance of studying people with a mild degree of Intellectual Disability, aspect that would strengthen the knowledge of the cognitive running of this people and as a result it would make possible to improve the psychoeducative’s intervention strategies (the educative response would improve). The aims of this research are focus on analyze two kinds of attention (processual and perceptive) in adult people with Intellectual Disability and comparing with the population in general. For the development of this research we used the quantitative methodology, using as resource of assessment the KCC and Caras’ tests that were concluded by 29 candidates with mild degree of Intellectual Disability, and other 29 candidates without it.
