  This study aimed to evaluate the current state of joint mobility of 30 elderly women (62-87 / = 71.33 years) practicing physical activity. The measurements were evaluated by Goniometry using the LABIFIE protocol, in the following movements of the shoulder joint: Horizontal Flexion, Horizontal Extension, Abduction and Flexion. The statistical treatment was descriptive, with mean and standard deviation, using the program BioEstat 5.3. The collected data were classified in the GDLAM Normality Standard and compared, AAOS reference standards. Most of the results stand out for the prevalence of low joint mobility, within the GDLAM table. Except the FHO movement had the classification (very good, 100%) and surpassed the AAOS indexes. The angles of the joint movements of EHO, AO and FO of the elderly Roraimenses are below the national and international reference indices

  Este estudo buscou avaliar o estado atual da mobilidade articular de 30 mulheres idosas (62-87/=71,33 anos) praticantes de atividade física. As medidas foram avaliadas por Goniometria pelo protocolo LABIFIE, nos seguintes movimentos da articulação do ombro: Flexão Horizontal, Extensão Horizontal, Abdução e Flexão. O tratamento estatístico foi de forma descritiva, com média e desvio padrão, sendo utilizado o programa BioEstat 5.3. Os dados coletados classificados no Padrão de normalidade GDLAM e comparados, padrões de referência da AAOS. A maioria dos resultados sobressai para a prevalência de baixa mobilidade articular, dentro da tabela GDLAM. Exceto o movimento FHO teve a classificação (muito bom, 100%) e superou os índices da AAOS. Os ângulos dos movimentos articulares de EHO, AO e FO das idosas roraimenses, encontram-se abaixo dos índices de referência tanto nacional, quanto internacional.
