Resumen de Um breve histórico das atividades extracurricular na formação do enfermeiro enquanto prática acadêmica.

  The article sought to identify the importance of extracurricular (complementary) activities throughout history in the training of nurses as a reflexive, critical and humanistic professional.

  Verify that extracurricular activities within the nursing course consist of academic practices.

  Recognize the various forms of knowledge construction. To verify the purpose of the formation of the academic is added multidisciplinary knowledge. We used a descriptive qualitative exploratory bibliographical methodology of the important descriptive type to define the boundary line considering the scientific perspective. In this way, nursing has been progressing significantly, seeking to establish itself as the holder of scientific knowledge, without neglecting the humanitarian aspect of its profession. The historical roots of this evolution began in the colonial period with the coming of the royal family to Brazil, which established here the socalled higher education. However, the nurse must remain qualified to act, with a sense of responsibility and citizenship

  O artigo buscou identificar a importância das atividades extracurriculares (complementares) ao longo da história na formação do enfermeiro como um profissional reflexivo, crítico e humanista. Verificar se as atividades extracurriculares no âmbito do curso de enfermagem consistem em práticas acadêmicas. Reconhecer as diversas formas de construção do conhecimento. Verificar a finalidade da formação do acadêmico se acrescenta conhecimento multidisciplinar. Utilizou-se de uma metodologia qualitativa exploratória bibliográfica do tipo descritivo importante para definir a linha limítrofe considerando a perspectiva científica. Deste modo, a enfermagem vem progredindo significativamente, buscando firmar-se como detentora do saber científico, sem deixar de lado o aspecto humanitário de sua profissão. As raízes históricas desta evolução iniciaram no período colonial com a vinda da família real para o Brasil, que institui aqui o chamado ensino superior. Contudo, o enfermeiro deve permanecer capacitado para atuar, com senso de responsabilidade e cidadania.
