  • The article focuses on investor and shareholder pressure forcing companies to act on climate change and lower greenhouse gas emissions. It suggests investors need to exert more leverage on companies as politicians in the U.S. and elsewhere have failed to address climate change threats to the environment, health, and national security. It states U.S. President Donald Trump ignores scientific evidence on the threat of climate change, and discusses how investment funds can encourage sustainability.
