Resumen de Aportación al estudio del habla de Madrid en los siglos XVIII y XIX

La denominada habla de Madrid se formó mediante la fusión de elementos de muy diverso origen. Por un lado, dialectalismos —especialmente andaluces, pero también de otras zonas— debido a su situación central tanto geográfica como política; por otro, en la llamada habla popular —es decir, el habla de la mayoría de la población entonces— el uso de gitanismos y de elementos jergales y de germanía fue muy importante. En este trabajo estudiamos textos costumbristas de la primera mitad del siglo XIX —con breves incursiones en el siglo XVIII y la segunda mitad del XIX— con el objetivo de analizar algunos de los elementos característicos del habla de Madrid y sus modos de representación.

Entitled «speech of Madrid» (habla de Madrid) was created through the union of components from different origins: on one hand, dialectalisms —mostly andalusianisms, but also from other areas—, given the geographical and political central situation of the city; on the other hand, caló terms, jargon items and criminal slang (germanía), with a significant presence in the so-called popular speech, that is, the speech of the majority of the population in that period. In this paper we examine different costumbrista texts of the 18th and the first half of the 19th centuries in order to analyze some of the components characteristic to the speech of Madrid and its modes of representation.
