La renta en el arrendamiento rústico

    En época romana un elemento esencial de la locatio conductio rei es su carácter oneroso, si el locator cede la cosa al conductor es porque este abona por ello una renta. El abono de la renta consistía en la entrega de una cantidad dineraria, aunque en los arrendamientos rústicos primaba pactar una renta en especie sobre los mismos frutos agrícolas que produjese el fundo arrendado. Pero dicha renta ha ido variando por circunstancias extraordinarias y erosión monetaria a través del tiempo.

    In Roman times an essential element of the locatio conductio rei is its onerous character, if the locator gives the thing to the driver it is because he pays for it an income. The payment of the rent consisted of the delivery of a monetary amount, although in the rustic leases it was important to agree on an income in kind on the same agricultural fruits that the leased farm would produce. But this income has been changing due to extraordinary circumstances and monetary erosion over time.
