Resumen de El marco jurídico-político de la estrategia española de seguridad en el SAHEL y sus flujos migratorios

  El texto analiza el panorama migratorio, centrado en torno al SAHEL, Golfo de Guinea y de Marruecos como el factor geográfico del cual derivan los problemas de seguridad general y de los flujos migratorios hacia el Mediterráneo Central. Se centra en su evolución, intensidad y características propias, las causas que han dado lugar a este fenómeno migratorio, la realidad de lo que está pasando y que sirva para hacernos reflexionar si realmente el esfuerzo político que se está realizando por parte de los gobiernos de la Unión Europea y España y su implicación en la estrategia global para la política exterior y de seguridad de la UE es la respuesta adecuada y acorde a los actuales retos en esta zona tan conflictiva con los riesgos y amenazas derivados de estos flujos migratorios que van en aumento hacia Europa.

  The text analyses the migratory landscape, centred around the SAHEL, Gulf of Guinea and Morocco as the geographical factor from which the problems of general security and migratory flows to the Central Mediterranean derive. It focuses on its evolution, intensity and its own characteristics, the causes that have led to this migratory phenomenon, the reality of what is happening and that serves to make us think if really the political effort that is being made by the 166 Governments of the European Union and Spain and their involvement in the global strategy for Foreign and security policy of the EU is the appropriate response and in line with the current challenges in this so conflicting area with the risks and threats arising from these migratory flows that are on the rise towards Europe.
