Resumen de Análisis de la estructura del cuestionario de comportamiento parental para niños (CRPBI) en población española

El presente artículo estudia la dimensionalidad del inventario de con- ducta parental de Schaefer CRPBI (Child ́s Reports of Parental Behavior Inventory; Schaefer, 1965) en una muestra de 1106 escolares entre 8 y 14 años. Se realizaron diferentes análisis exploratorios como base para la pro- puesta final de un análisis factorial confirmatorio en el que se propone una estructura de 6 factores de primer orden, anidada en una estructura trifac- torial de segundo orden: Comunicación/afecto; Control y Hostilidad/permi- sividad. Los resultados relativos a la estructura propuesta han mostrado adecuadas propiedades psicométricas para sus factores e índices de ajuste aceptables.

This article analyses the dimensions of the Child ́s Reports of Parental Behavior Inventory (CRPBI; Schaefer, 1965). The sample was constituted by 1106 scholars between 8 and 14 years old. Different Exploratory Factor analy- ses were conducted as base on the final confirmatory factor analyses through self-report. The results supported a structure with 6 first order main factors resulting from 3 factors: Communication/Affection, Control and Hostility/Permisivity. The psychometric characteristics of the instrument are good. The combination of analytic and substantive criteria show the model was appropriated and the goodness fit indixes have also been favourable.
