Resumen de Fábula clásica y proverbios castellanos

En el español coloquial seguimos usando proverbios procedentes de fábulas de época grecolatina. En este trabajo comentamos el origen de algunos de ellos y la relación entre el dicho y la fábula de la que proceden. Además, apuntamos las posibles causas de su uso o paulatino desuso en la lengua coloquial y realizamos algunas observaciones sobre la interesante relación entre fábula proverbio.

In colloquial Spanish we continue to use proverbs coming from the fables of Classical Antiquity. In this paper, I will explain the origins of some of them and the relation between the saying and the fable that it comes from. Additionally, I will point out the causes for their use, or, alternatively, for why they have fallen into disuse in the spoken language, and will comment on the interesting relation between fable and proverb.
