The article explores the life and work of the artist Constantin Brancusi. Particular focus is given to his time spent in the U.S. and to his extensive work in sculpture. Additional topics include insights on his artistic techniques, his use of light and sculptural luminosity in his work and how his work compares to that of other artists including Robert Rauschenberg.
