  • The authoress choses a Theon's letter to his father (II a.D.) to give a full explanation of didactical uses of this literature. She compares this text with the same letter, if it would have been written five hundred years before in Attic dialect, to comment it from all points of view: Phonetics, Morphology, Syntax, Stilistics and Lexicon.
