  • Through a very detailed analysis of the homeric Margites the authoress emphasizes the parodical features of the character within the preserved fragments so on its formal point of view as on its content. On the second part of the paper she studies the testimonia of Hegemo from Thebae in order to characterize him as the first one who made the parody a genre by itself.
