  • The author gives a scientific rapport to fullfill the short information presented to the 8th Congress of the G. Budé Asociation celebrated in Paris on 1968. He points out the worth of the contributions of the first scholars who worked on that field like Gomperz and Usener, and puts on the same level of the German tradition the finicky task of the international scholars who now work on bringing to light the message of the payri from Herculan.
