    Resumen: La neutralidad del dinero es un problema teórico que ocupa un lugar central en el desarrollo de la teoría monetaria. El objetivo del artículo es resumir diferentes posiciones teóricas en relación a la neutralidad del dinero. La exposición del trabajo se realiza desde una perspectiva histórica, ya que consideramos que el lector podrá entender mejor la polémica actual sobre la neutralidad si conoce los antecedentes teóricos más importantes que le han dado origen. Esta investigación se circunscribe al análisis de estática comparativa en el marco de una economía cerrada, se trata de un estudio de carácter teórico. Se concluye que, en el marco de distintas teorías, la violación de alguno de los supuestos, que de acuerdo a Patinkin garantizan la neutralidad del dinero, lleva a conclusiones de no neutralidad en el corto plazo, un resultado aceptado por la mayoría de las corrientes teóricas.

    Abstract: The neutrality of the money is a theoretical problem that occupies a central place in the development of the monetary theory. The objective of the article is to summarize different theoretical positions in relation to the neutrality of the money. The exhibition of the work is carried out from a historical perspective, since we consider that the reader Will be able to understand the current polemic better about the neutrality if he knows the most important theoretical antecedents that have given him origin. This investigation is bounded to the analysis of comparative static in the mark of a closed economy, it is a study of theoretical character. We concludes that in the mark of different theories, the violation of some ofthe suppositions that guarantee the neutrality ofthe money according to Patinkin, takes to conclusions of non neutrality in the short term, a result accepted by most of the theoretical currents.
