This work presents a comparison of two universities: one public, and the other private. Two competency-based Master’sdegree programs will be compared in terms of the strengths and weaknesses identified by their coordinators. The faculty’sperceptions of the development/acquisition of said competencies by the students will be presented, as well as theirimpressions of the entire competency-based teaching/learning process.
