Resumen de La storia dell’architettura contemporanea: il punto di vista e la presa di distanza. Esiste un’etica della ricerca?
The article proposes a reflection on some issues that in the last fifty years have gone through the history of Early Modern and Modern Architecture. Investigating on the connections with broader stories and multiple knowledge, recent debates and research lines are examined, questioning the role of philology, the meaning of narratives, the weight of transcripts. The awareness that the time of the project, the time of the building and that of history are different times and as such should be investigated redefines the idea of the history of architecture and the boundaries of the historian’s craft.
