Resumen de La (in)visibilidad de las lenguas regionales en el paisaje lingüístico de Asturias y de Galicia

  This work examines the presence of the Asturian and Galician language in the linguistic landscape. The objective is to indicate the degree of their visibility and to distinguish the factors that condition it. At first, the required sociolinguistic basics about multilingualism, as well as an overview about language diversity in Asturias and Galicia are given. Related work is presented as well. Subsequently, an analysis of a corpus of more than five hundred photos is offered, which consists of three parts. The first two parts investigate the linguistic landscape of eight urban and rural areas in Asturias (Xixón, Uviéu, Mieres del Camín y Cuideiru) and Galicia (A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Vilagarcía de Arousa y Muros). The third one constitutes a comparative analysis. It aims to point out the diatopic and diaphasic factors, which impact the degree of the visibility of the local languages in the public space of these two regions, as well as find the parallelisms and differences between them.

  Esti trabayu investiga les llingües asturiana y gallega, asina como la presencia de les mesmes nel espaciu públicu. Considérase que l’análisis del paisaxe llingüísticu (linguistic landscape) dexa especificar el nivel de la visibilidá del idioma dau y estremar los factores que lu determinen. La primer parte del artículu céntrase n’aclarar les nociones básiques rellacionaes col fenómenu del plurillingüismu y presentar informaciones sobre la diversidá llingüística d’Asturies y de Galicia. Conséñense tamién les publicaciones más recién o más relevantes que traten la mesma problemática. Darréu, descríbense los resultaos d’un estudiu compuestu de tres etapes.

  Les dos primeres investiguen el paisaxe llingüísticu d’ocho fasteres rurales y urbanes d’Asturies (Xixón, Uviéu, Mieres del Camín y Cuideiru) y de Galicia (A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Vilagarcía de Arousa y Muros). La tercera ye, sicasí, un análisis contrastivu que tien como oxetivu principal distinguir los factores diatópicos y diafásicos qu’influyen nel nivel de la visibilidá de les llingües llocales nel espaciu públicu de les dos rexones p’alcontrar paralelismos y dixebres ente elles. El corpus fotográficu, que dispón de más de quinientes semeyes, foi creáu especialmente pa esti trabayu.
