Aquest article pretén analitzar la composició culta com a procés de formació de mots des d'una perspectiva teòrica i descriptiva, parant especial atenció als canvis produïts arran de la banalització dels formants cultes en la llengua general. Per això, ens centrarem en els canvis semàntics i morfosintàctics d'alguns formants cultes i analitzarem la productivitat del procés de formació de mots i dels diferents mecanismes que inclou.

This article aims to analyse neoclassical compounding as a word-formation process from a theoretical and descriptive perspective, paying special attention to the changes produced as a result of the trivialization of combining forms in the general language. For this reason, we will focus on semantic and morphosyntactic changes of some combining forms and we will analyse the productivity of the word-formation process and its mechanisms.
