  • The author goes through the modern criticisms of the Aristotelian biological science from Bachelard's views (Joly, Byl) and he makes reference to a series of points in which the ideas of modern science differ from the Aristotelian principies. Today's point of view is that his biology is «rational» more than scientific without that being a drawback in order to value his observations and his flow of knowledge.
