    La tecnología digital permite acceder a todo tipo de información sin apenas limitaciones. En este contexto el derecho a ser olvidado en Internet surge como la necesidad de otorgar a los usuarios la eliminación de información indexada. El Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 regula el derecho al olvido por primera vez en Europa. En consecuencia, los motores de búsqueda como Google se ven obligados a actualizar sus normativas para garantizar el derecho a eliminar publicaciones que los usuarios consideren perjudiciales.

    Digital technology allows access to all types of information without limitations. In this context, the right to be forgotten on the Internet arises as the need to grant users the elimination of indexed information. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 guides the right to be forgotten for the first time in Europe. As a result, search engines such as Google are forced to update their regulations to ensure the right to delete information that users consider harmful.
