Resumen de Comparativa entre la cobertura informativa de los atentados de París y los de Nigeria (3-14 de enero de 2015) en El País, El Mundo y The New York Times

  Esta investigación analizó el tratamiento y la cobertura que recibieron dos atentados islamistas, uno en Francia y otro en Nigeria. La muestra es de 139 noticias, correspondientes a El Mundo, El País y The New York Times; y el periodo de estudio comprende desde el 3 de enero de 2015 hasta el 14 de enero de 2015. Un lapso de tiempo que coincide con los atentados perpetrados contra París, el 7 y 9 de enero de 2015, y con la ofensiva del grupo terrorista Boko Haram contra la población de Baga el 3 de enero de ese mismo año.

  This research analyzed the treatment and the coverage that two Islamist attacks received, in France and Nigeria. The sample is of 139 news, that correspond to El Mundo, El País and The New York Times; and the period of study is from January 3, 2015 to January 14, 2015. A lapse of time that coincides with the attacks perpetrated against Paris, on January 7 and 9, 2015, and with the offensive of the terrorist group Boko Haram against the population of Baga on January 3, 2015.
