The new age of the history of international migrations makes necessary to think again about the political and legal relationship between exile, migration, asylum and forced displacement, overcoming the fake tem- poral barriers and legal status, in order to unders- tand the complexity of a great and recurring challen- ge on the transatlantic agenda in all its dimensions.
