    O pós-estruturalismo produziu uma valorização da narrativa no discurso histórico que gerou diversas dificuldades para o historiador. Aqui, neste artigo, avalia-se o impacto de uma onda pós-estruturalista sobre a disciplina história e sobre as perspectivas metafísicas dos historiadores. A chamada “crise da história” daí decorrente é analisada como uma crise dos historiadores que, motivados por uma ontologia alheia aos valores históricos, reagem negativamente à perda de seus referentes realistas.

    Poststructuralism produced a valorization of the narrative in the historical discourse that generated several difficulties for the historian. In this paper, the impact of a poststructuralist wave on the discipline of history and on the metaphysical perspectives of historians is evaluated. The so-called "crisis of history" is analyzed as a crisis of historians who, motivated by an ontology alien to historical values, react negatively to the loss of their realistic referents.
