    • The experiment was conducted during one school year and the population was composed of university students of maths and electronics in their 3rd year, who had chosen the educational area. As a way of "upgrading" the Educational Technology program (that all the students following the educational area must attend at the University of Aveiro), which had not changed significantly over the past 10 years, some of the teachers, who were assigned students belonging to the above mentioned courses decided to propose a new program. The changes introduced had, basically, the aim of presenting new technologies -CD-I, CD-ROM- new concepts -hypertext, multimedia, WWW, empowering learning environments- and also special micro-worlds that have been particularly successful in terms of computers and education; and here we're referring to Logo and to one of its last "updates": Hyperlogo, the programming language of Hyperstudio.
