    En este trabajo se analiza la dependencia entre las medidas tomadas sobre las huellas y rastros terópodos (longitud del pie, orientación, paso…) y entre ellas y los índices que se deducen (altitud de la pata, velocidad…). Las conclusiones obtenidas al aplicar este análisis sobre 208 rastrilladas terópodas son a veces sorprendentes (relación entre la longitud del pie y la velocidad…) y las vías de estudio que sugieren (dependencia entre el cálculo teórico y las medidas reales) quizá permitan plantear problemas de utilidad en icnología.

    In this work I analyse both the relation between the numerical measurements taken from footprints and trackways made by theropod dinosaurs (footprint length, orientation, pace…) and their relation with the numerical values deduced from them (acetabulum height, velocity…). The conclusions obtained from the application of this analysis in 208 theropod trackways are sometimes surprising (relation between footprint length and velocity…) and the new research gauges they suggest (the difference between theoretical calculations and real measurements) may allow us to pose useful problems in ichnology.
