Resumen de Antropologia no Ceará: algumas notas sobre o porvir e o vigor de ter sido

  O dia 17 de agosto de 2017 constitui uma data especial para o ensino e a pesquisa antropológica no Estado do Ceará. A Antropologia cearense retoma então, em novas bases e com novas parcerias, uma história que fora interrompida. A data celebra a instituição de nosso Mestrado Acadêmico, uma parceria entre a Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC) e a Universidade de Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-brasileira (UNILAB). Para nós da UFC, desde os idos do Instituto de Antropologia, fundado em 1953 e extinto em 1957, em nosso Estado, não se tem registro de um esforço sistemático e institucional consagrado ao ensino e formação, pesquisa e extensão em antropologia, com o reconhecimento da Capes e da ABA. O presente artigo tem portanto como objetivo registrar alguns dos passos da história aludida para, em seguida, refletir sobre o nosso passado antropológico, nosso presente a as possibilidades futuras no encontro dessas duas universidades.

  August 17, 2017 is a special date for both teaching and researching on Anthropology in the State of Ceará, Brazil. One restarts then, by means of other bases and new partnerships our anthropological history by establishing an Academic Master's Degree. This is due to the collaboration between the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB). Since the beginning of the Institute of Anthropology in Ceará, which was founded in 1953 and extincted in 1957, there had been no historical record concerning the recognition of CAPES and ABA about systematic and devoted to teaching, training and researching in Anthropology. This article aims both recording some of the steps of the above referred history  and reflecting our anthropological past, our present and future possibilities in the meeting of these two universities.
