Técnica para aislar la cavidad apical en la obturación retrograda de las apicectomias

    Se describe un método para asegurar la no-contaminación del material de relleno en las obturaciones retrógradas de las apicectomías, así como el aislamiento necesario para no sufrir pérdidas accidentales de partículas del material de obturación en la zona quirúrgica, cosas ambas que reducen el porcentaje de éxitos en los tratamientos de cirugía periapical. Por otro lado, los residuos abandonados inadvertidamente en el hueso comprometen seriamente el futuro implantológico en la zona tratada

    In this article, a method is described to assure the absence of contamination in the filling material used in the retrofillings of the apico.ectomies, and also a way to isolate the surgical area and avoid the accidental loose of small filling material particles in the surgical zone. Both things red uce the percentage of success in the treatments of the apical surgery. In the other hand, the residues left u nnoticedly in the bone may seriously compromise the implantologic future of the treated area
