  • Ntinga LINK aims to improve business linkages in the construction sector to the benefit of microenterprises in the sector. This article describes how the sector was identified as one with positive potential, and how surveys established the main constraints affecting microenterprises seeking contracts. Ntinga's approach was to improve the services of existing business service providers and also to identify and publicize the existence of 'embedded services', such as costing and technical advice, provided by materials suppliers.
