Resumen de Cine de fantasía y cine fantástico: El destinador como fundamento de la dicotomía entre géneros

La estructura narrativa de las películas fantásticas se manifiesta como una suerte inversión siniestra de la estructura del relato simbólico propia del cine de fantasía y los relatos míticos en general. Esta inversión se demuestra en la perversión o ausencia de las funciones propias del destinador, actante angular en la configuración narrativa del relato simbólico. El artículo ofrece un repaso de los trabajos teóricos de los que se fundamenta esta conclusión y los resultados del análisis de un grupo heterogéneo de largometrajes fantásticos, en los que se ha estudiado, específicamente, el debilitamiento o inversión siniestra del destinador.

The narrative structure of the fantastic films manifests itself as a kind of sinister inversion of the structure of the symbolic story, characteristic of the fantasy cinema and the mythical stories. This inversion becomes clear in either the perversion or absence of the assigner’s functions, key actant in the narrative configuration of the symbolic story. The article offers a review of the theoretical works in which this conclusion is based on. It also shows the results of the analysis of a heterogeneous group of fantastic films, in which it has been specifically studied the weakening or sinister inversion of the assigner.
