  • The author discusses the annual National Public Health Week (NPHW) held each year during the first full week of April and its mission to showcase the importance of public health in daily life and promote its strengthening. Topics include the 2019 focus on the importance of basing policymaking on scientific evidence to make it available for the public health actors and proactively advancing the health of the public.
