    El artículo ofrece un estudio acerca de la conformación del actual territorio de La Laguna en el monte de México, como un subproducto de la guerra de Intervención Francesa. El apoyo oportuno a Juárez durante este acontecimiento, permitió a los interesados en la formación de la región conseguir sus objetivos en contra de los interereses de los conservadores locales con el triunfo de Juárez y el grupo liberal.

    The article offers a study about the conformation of the current territory of La Laguna in the mountains of Mexico, as a byproduct of the French Intervention War. The timely support for Juarez during this event allowed those interested in the formation of the region to achieve their objectives against the interests of the local conservatives with the triumph of Juarez and the Liberal group.
