Resumen de La historiografía de Aguascalientes en el siglo XX: recuento de avances y tareas pendientes

Este artículo propone un análisis de la producción historiográfica referida a Aguascalientes durante el siglo XX. El material se aborda de manera temática: revolución armada, destrucción de la hacienda y desarrollo agrícola, historia de la educación, iglesia católica, modernización política y social, desarrollo industrial y urbano, movimientos sociales y desarrollo político. Se propone una evaluación de los avances que se registran en cada campo temático y un análisis de las principales obras. Al final, se hacen algunas reflexiones sobre el alcance de las investigaciones publicadas y los campos en los que se antojan necesarias nuevas aportaciones.

This article proposes an analysis of the historiographic production referred to Aguascalientes during the 20th century. The material is dealt with in a thematic way: armed revolution, destruction of the hacienda and agricultural development, history of education, catholic church, political and social modernization, industrial and urban development, social movements and political development. An evaluation of the progress registered in each thematic field and an analysis of the main works is proposed. At the end, some reflections are made about the scope of the published research and the fields in which new contributions seem necessary
