Resumen de El guardián y el perro: la formación cívica del filósofo

El presente trabajo hace un acercamiento a ciertas actitudes en la Grecia antigua que retrospectivamente se denominan «filosofía», a partir de las nociones de guardián (φύλαξ) y perro (κύον, κυνικός) en relación con la πόλις, tanto en su auge en la Grecia clásica, como en su derrumbe en el helenismo y en el contexto de lo cosmopolita. Será crucial la consideración del espacio de intercambio (ἀγορά) contrapuesto a los límites propios de la ciudad y la tarea del pensar, que se concreta en esta propuesta en el guardián-perro.

This paper aims to approach some attitudes in Ancient Greece that retrospectively are called “philosophy”, from the notions of the guardian (φύλαξ) and the dog (κύον, κυνικός) in relation with the πόλις, both in its peak in the Classical Greece and in its decline in the Hellenism and in the context of cosmopolitism. It will be crucial the consideration of the space of exchange (ἀγορά) opposed to the limits of the city and the task of thinking, specified in this proposal as the guardian/dog.
