    En el artículo se hace una descripción del altar en su conjunto y en sus diversas partes. Después se analizan los datos históricos. Antesl del retablo barroco de mediados del siglo XVIII existió un altar anterior, del siglo XVI, del que formaban parte tres bajorrelieves y el Calvario. En 1737 comenzó a construirse el altar barroco con la estatua de Santa María Magdalena y el ostensorio. Por último, se explica el significado religioso del retablo.

    This article deals firstly with the description of the altar. Then we analyse the historical data. Prior to the Baroque altarpiece of XVIII century, there was an altar older than XVI, which included three bassreliefs and the Calvary. In 1737 construction of the Baroque altar began, starting with the statue of Saint Mary Magdalene and the tabernacle. In the last part of the article we deal with the religious significance of the altarpiece.
