  Se analiza el ecosistema de la televisión digital para conocer, en relación al material de los telenoticias, la transformación producida en la selección, análisis documental, búsqueda, acceso, preservación, etc. Se concluye que el nuevo paradigma aporta grandes ventajas en todas esas áreas, está cambiando los modelos tradicionales propios del contexto analógico y confiere un papel cada vez más activo al usuario final, el periodista. Pero, aún compartiendo ciertos conocimientos con los usuarios, los documentalistas seguirán siendo los expertos en la organización de áreas cada más complejas y con un alto componente tecnológico.

  An analysis was carried out of the ecosystem of digital television in order to discover the transformation in the selection, documentary analysis, search, access, preservation etc... in relation to TV news programmes. The conclusion is that the new paradigm is providing considerable advantages in all these areas, is changing the traditional models of the analogical context and granting an ever more active role to the end user, the journalist. But, although they may share certain knowledge with the user, the documentalists will continue to be the experts in the organisation of areas which are increasingly more complex and technological.
